CORE SC's Funding Opportunities

Grant IllustrationCORE SC is excited to offer grant funding opportunities. This funding is managed and administered through the South Carolina Space Grant Consortium and the NASA EPSCoR Program at the College of Charleston Grants Management office.

The goals of the CORE SC Advanced Research Grant and the Advanced Collaboration Projects Grant are  to provide funding for up to one (1) year to organizations interested in conducting applied research on resilience sectors. Successful proposals will advance the program’s mission of providing solutions to resilience challenges, making significant contributions in one or more of the resilience sectors – Water, Energy, Connectivity, Agriculture, and Natural Hazards (WE CAN) and align with one or more of NASA’s missions.

Projects funded under the Advanced Research and Advanced Collaboration Projects Grants must benefit the public by modeling scalable and replicable potential solutions to resilience challenges. As a result, the project is expected to contribute to South Carolina’s economic, environmental, and/or social betterment as outlined in the SC Office of Resilience Risk Reduction Plan and the Vision 2030: South Carolina Science & Technology Plan,
